Bitcoin Tops $28K for 1st Time, Hours After Crossing $27K; Market Cap Now Tops $500B
After eclipsing $27,000 for the first time ever only a few hours before, the price of bitcoin surged past $28,000 Sunday morning as the leading cryptocurrency’s recent meteoric rise continues. BTC’s market value now exceeds $500 billion.
